Beggars Pizza

"If I could give zero stars I would. This was my first time trying beggars pizza and was so disappointed. I ordered a chicken taco pizza and I don’t know what they gave me. I had to literally throw the pizza away. It was cold so I tried to warm it up and the cheese didn’t even want to melt. Had no sour cream or lettuce on it. Never told them to put hot peppers on it either. Then the sad thing is you spend all this money and they come back and say we’re sorry and hope to do better. This comes with bad management and not training the employees correctly!!"

"My recent experience at Beggars in Gary was notably disappointing. Despite a substantial delay in receiving my order (30mins later than the pick up time email stated), the quality of the deep dish pizza was subpar – arriving in an unsatisfactory, wet condition. Moreover, the customer service response was inadequate, lacking managerial availability and offering only an email contact for addressing concerns. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience." I feel like I wasted 50 bucks."

"Honest review. Three stars for the interior design, staff was moderately friendly, quick in and out transaction. Hot pizza and melted cheese but either the sauce or the bread had a sour taste to it . I have tried restaurants all over the country as an OTR truck driver, and never ordered a pie that I didn't want to finish other than for the reason of being full, beggars pizza in Gary Indiana made the cut for the first pie that stayed put. The purpose of this review is not to steer people away, locals, if they have gotten accustomed to this as “good pizza” to each his own, but I hope the cook could improvise those ingredients or change it up, because dinner last night held much disappointment."
