"We were driving through TerreHaute and found this restaurant on a Google search. It was a pleasant surprise. Amazing atmosphere. Even the bathrooms had a ton of character. The waitstaff were friendly, and the menu had a lot of great options."

"We were in Terre Haute recently and my parents suggested we try this place out due to its history and there was a bit of hype behind it. We managed to visit recently. We came on a Monday at around 3 PM and they weren’t busy at all and there was pretty much no one there (aside from 2 people at the bar). Our waitress was friendly. I started out with the potato skins as an appetizer. Those were amazing! Some of the best ones I’ve ever had! Super crispy and seasoned nicely. As my entree, I got the tenderloin with fries. Overall, it wasn’t that great. It had ZERO seasoning and was very bland. The fries were decent. Overall, not a bad bar! If I’m back in Terre Haute, I’ll probably stop here again. They got a massive menu to try so I have other options."

"Rustic classic pub feel with vintage charm. A lot of the interior decor pieces are from buildings around town. This place is huge. Multi-levels and rooms to dine in. Booth, table, high top table, at bar seating, and outdoor patio seating available. This place has 2 bars. Self guided tour down the stairs to the basement to see the original brewery was awesome. There's also an old school beer cooler you can see. Large drink selection to choose from. Plenty of food options from appetizers to sandwiches to pizza and entrees. We ordered the pretzel knots, chicken tenders, and brisket mac attack. The pretzel knots with the beer cheese sauce was delicious. Be careful with the mustard sauce, too much and that horseradish turns into fire. The chicken tender entree was no joke...5 larger than life juicy lightly seasoned tenders the size of chicken breasts was filling. The brisket mac attack was good, but due to personal preference I'd have much rather had both seperate from one another. The smoky flavor from the Bbq sauce didn't mesh well with the mac and cheese for me, but again, personal preference. Our server was nice, but definitely stressed. Overall, a very unique dining experience."

"Great place with some history in the area. We ate in the bar for convenience. The bartender was helpful and friendly with beer and menu suggestions. The fried mushrooms are fantastic. Really a very large basket meant to share. We shared the brisket Mac and cheese with a baked potato and a salad. The Mac and cheese was creamy and had good flavor, but sprinkled toasted bread crumbs weren't that great. We are spoiled with our own smoked brisket, this was good, but not great. We don't go to Terre Haute very often, but this was a good choice for dinner."

"Fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere blends upscale and rustic and the food is absolutely fantastic and worth the cost. Food options are delicious and we were served timely and everything tasted amazing. The fried mushrooms are whole mushrooms and the best Ive ever tried, and the Bourbon Steak was cooked just right with a yummy glaze. They had great draft options when we went and our waitress was friendly and courteous! Definitely coming back."
