"The customer service is awful now. I called ask for the extra 20% off they started running the day after I ordered my bag. The guy couldn’t hardly speak English. Then when I did get my bag it was in plastic with no dust bag. A $500 purse just thrown in a box in plastic. I have ordered from them many times and it use to come in a box with a dust bag. That was the last one I’ll buy from MK’s."
"I went into the Leeds location to get links added to a watch and was first asked how many and was it for me. I answered both questions and then she asked did I buy it from their store. I told her no and she stated they can’t do it because they don’t have the watch in store to replace it, if it’s damaged. While that sounds good, if your policy was that strict, I would imagine the FIRST question would be if it was purchase at that particular store. It really made no sense to tell me to go to another jeweler like this isn’t YOUR product! And then of course, there the whole thing of not telling me the price of a watch I was looking to buy until I walked to the other side of the case (away from the door) as if to suggest I was planning to steal it! I drove across town for absolutely no reason because none of what I went in store for was accomplished. I refuse to purchase from someone who’s basically treating me like i can’t afford what I’m trying to buy."
"I don’t even know where to start. If I could give less than a one that would be to much. I purchased a bag there 11 days ago for my daughters birthday, she decided she wanted something smaller so I wanted to return it. I had the original receipt, my e-receipt and all tags were still attached. It is in directly off the shelf condition. When I wrapped the bag for my daughter i took the stuffing out to place other items in the bag and of course threw the stuffing away. When I went to return it today, they told me they were unable to return it because I did not return it with the stuffing in it and that they were unable to resell the bag without it. The paper stuffing! The tissue paper that you throw away! Corporate doesn’t send them extra stuffing and they are not allowed to allow returns in THAT condition. I just stood there because I could not believe I was hearing something so ridiculous. I told him I live over an hour away and that they really expected me to drive an hour home and an hour back to return it when I was sure I had thrown the paper away anyway. They did not care! On the way out the manager was standing to the side and I stopped and ask her if they could do the return and she blatantly told me know that there is a sign under the register that says no returns can be done without the stuffing and that I should have taken the time to read this when I made the purchase. All the sign and the receipt says is refunds within 30 days on unused items. I was not verbally told this information either. I told her this was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard in my life. On the way out another employee greeted me with a very nasty and hateful “ma’am you have a wonderful day!” After hours of thinking about this I have filed a complaint with Michael Kors customer service. The CSR told me this is not their return policy and that the return should have been completed and that someone would be reaching out to me about this with 3 business days. She was also stunned over what i had been told. Before calling customer service I called another MK outlet store and ask them about the return policy and they said they have never heard of that before. I lived in Oklahoma for years and visited the MK outlet store there many times and NEVER had a single problem. I enjoyed shopping there because the employees were so friendly and helpful. LOVED it! I have been in this store maybe 3 times and every time I have ever been in it the employees act like they are being bothered and that you are putting them out by being waited on. I will NEVER spend another nickel or set foot in that store again. I have never called or complained on an experience like this with any store before and I thought about it for hours before I called customer service today but this was bad enough and ridiculous enough to warrant reporting it. If you even think you may need to return it don’t go in this store. Kate Spade is a few doors down and they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They have 100% of my business now and I am hoping that no other customer has to experience what I experienced today."
"The employees are super sweet. But the return/exchange policy is a joke!!! Even NEVER used and having my receipt. I wasn’t able to return a couple items. And were still in the original bag. Have been in my vehicle. Just haven’t had time to go by there. News flash!!! THEY DON’T CARE!!! Because they have a 30 day return policy. And I’m on the 40th day. They should tell you that when you’re spending hundreds of dollars in their store. Lesson LEARNED!! I was just reading other reviews. There are a ton about return/exchanges. All of us need to start blowing up corporate. Bet things would change then. I’m a former store manager. And she definitely has the power to return something, even if it’s over 30 days."
"If there’s more lesser than 1, I will definitely give a negative score to this store without a doubt. That manager named CHELSEA is the rudest, unhelpful person on that store. She seemed bothered for me to be there and thought I couldn’t afford to buy anything at the store knowing I have been buying Michael kors in my entire life not just for me but for my family and friends as well. So I went there twice on the day before the Mother’s Day, made my first purchase on the early afternoon and decided to come back later that day to show my Mom what she like for me get more but when I asked her nicely about the watch if I can try it on she answered me with a sarcastic, rude tone voice if I will buy it. Well, of course I will if I can try it first and so my Mom can see it but she ask me to move out of the way not just once but twice because there’s other customer behind me, to think I was there first and wasn’t that long yet. So I told her never mind, you are really rude. Then she was just laughing looking at me. I left the store right away. I don’t think you would treat your customers like that. I was there earlier that day and paid hundreds of dollars without an issue, was happy with regular employees service and then there you are a Manager that should have been showing a leadership towards your people has a garbage attitude. More power to you on that!"
