"Went to get something quickly. Got there at 9:30 but store was closed already even dough sign said it closed until 10"

"I just visited this store a few minutes ago. To give it one star is over rating it. I understand the shortage of staff, so I can over look the items being in boxes in the isles however; there is no excuse for cashiers being rude and unprofessional by talking on their cellphone while taking care of customers. This cashier didn't have show courtesy by placing my items in bags or even moving it to the left side to indicate that she was finished. It took her two tries so that I could put my card in the machine to pay."

"I was pushing my cart towards the register when one of the employees stated as she walked past me, "Those are five dollars a pack". At that point, I took notice of her presence and looked in her direction. She continued, "I'm just letting you know because they were still in the box". I didn't say anything and kept walking towards the register. As I was checking out, there was a problem with the card reader (as it was the last time I was there). She must have been the store manager; because the attendant at the register called for her assistance. As she walked around the counter, she mumbled something under her breath. With her assistance, the attendant completed the transaction, gave me my receipt and asked me to have a nice day. The manager (?) spoke up again and said out of the blue, "The reason I said something was because the box was closed". She still hasn't said, "hello", "good morning", "good day" - nothing. I explained to her that the box was already open and that is how I was able to see what was in it. She admitted it was open but said the box flaps were closed and I should have asked someone before removing anything from the box. I told her that the flaps were not closed and if they had been I would not have been able to see what was in the box and I would not have opened it. She then stated, "Well, I was being nice about it". I told her, "No, you were not". She then said in a condescending tone, "Well, you have a nice day". I responded equally condescendingly, "You have a better day". She stated, "I intend to". It is easy to understand now why there has been such frequent staff turnover at this store. Convenient location; but, not worth the headache."
