Dollar General

"I looked for emery boards and they only had the big, thick ones. I looked at hair color and nothing interested me. I checked out their air fresheners and it was difficult to find the right price on the shelf. I bought two headbands for $1 and left."

"Employees friendly. Great location. Undergoing management turnover, so very low on stock and hard to navigate blocked aisles right now; but they are busy working hard doing inventory, cleaning, and stocking shelves!"

"They never have shelves stocked! They have their carts with boxes to be put on the shelves all over the store which makes it hard for shoppers get to what they're trying to buy that "might" be actually on the shelves. 2 Sundays ago I went in and the check-out line was almost lined up to the entry doors. They only had 1 employee working. By the time I finally got to the register the line was all the way back to the entry doors. I counted 22 people waiting in line. Many customers just put down what they were wanting to purchase and left the store. I asked the cashier if she couldn't call for someone to open the other register. She said she was the only one there till 1:00.....it was 12:20 then. I rarely ever go in that Dollar General (Fosters, AL) even thought it's the closest one to us in that area. I normally drive an extra 9 mile to a different Dollar General."

"I shop here at least every other day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and overall pleasant. Sometimes it's a little busy, but I don't mind. They almost always have what I need or if not, it's usually on order and will be in store with a day or 3 at most. I'd much rather go here than the dreaded Walmart..."
