Tuscaloosa Mazda

"My car buying experience at Tuscaloosa Mazda was atrocious. I bought a used 2018 vehicle here and was told by Ricky that this was a great vehicle with no problems. Also Ricky told me that he “spilled gas” on the vehicle when he filled it up for the test drive. This turned out to be a lie as he was covering up a problem because later I found out that fuel was leaking out of one of the passenger side cylinders causing the gas smell. Well I leave Tuscaloosa with this vehicle embarking on my 2 hour and 15 minute drive home. The check engine light comes on shortly after leaving Tuscaloosa. Well I am still an hour away from home and the vehicle goes into limp mode and will not let me drive over 25 mph. To make this long story shorter I had the vehicle in the shop twice within 4 weeks trying to fix this limp mode issue. Also during this whole process they cannot seem to get my title together and send over the paperwork for me to get my tag. They told me they would send over my paperwork in a few days but it took 4 weeks. Eventually my mechanic is not able to solve this limp mode issue and told me it would have to get worse to find out what’s wrong. I requested to bring the vehicle back and get my money back since this experience was terrible and I have a broke down vehicle. All Jeff, the GM, offers is to buy my vehicle back causing me to lose thousands. I told him no and it seemed that the only solution would have to be getting lawyers involved. Just know what you are getting into before dealing with this company. They will lie and cheat you. Then don’t care if you drive around with a broken vehicle. All Jeff told me was that he hopes it gets better for me. Well me too Jeff thank you for nothing. Also with this company be prepared to be put on hold a lot and when someone tells you they will call you back they never do."
