"In the early afternoon of Monday, 12-18-23, I visited the Maxwell AFB main exchange. At the self-checkout register one of my purchases, a pocket knife (brand: "Bear Edge"), rang up at $22. The store display had it clearly marked at $18. When I brought it to the attention of the female employee who was working the self-checkout area she told me she couldn't leave the area to go check the price. She never asked another employee to help her nor offered to get a store manager involved. I had her remove the item from my purchases. It's a shame you just can't get good service anymore. And you would think that if you did it would certainly be at a military exchange where they seem to pride themselves on that pledge or promise."
