"This is the best dental office I have ever been to. I live far from the office but it’s definitely worth the drive. The staff is so professional, kind and caring. They always explain how your insurance works, never leave you in the dark to figure it out. Nearly no wait times and they make sure you’re comfortable and not in pain for any dental work you have done. As someone with dental anxiety I’ve never felt more comfortable and like I’m in the right hands to take care of me. I’m finally in a position to take care of my teeth and Dr. Dutton is absolutely amazing at explaining what needs to be done, no beating around the bush or pushing for unneeded dental work. Overall this dental office goes above and beyond and is the best around! :)"

"First and foremost, the staff and Dr. Dutton are SO friendly. I'm a fan of great customer service, & it was provided! I instantly felt welcomed. The wait time was minimal & my cleaning was done thoroughly but in a very timely manner. They made sure to explain any issues, asked me about my areas of concern, & created a personalized dental treatment plan tailored to me! We had some issues with my insurance, but they were on top of getting things handled & didn't leave me to just figure it out by myself or force me to pay out-of-pocket because of technical issues. "I have been going to the dentist and periodontist regularly for the past 3 years, having teeth pulled in preparation for dental implants. I just moved to Athens from Florida and had not yet gotten established with a dentist. Yesterday, my loose tooth became so painful, I was searching the area for a dental practice and found Apex Dental....thank goodness! I called this morning, they got me in this afternoon as a new patient! The office is new and clean and beautiful. Caroline took great care of me prior to seeing Dr. Dutton. Dr. Dutton reviewed the x-rays with me and explained that the tooth could not be saved. The numbing shot did not hurt at all! The tooth removed was way in the back, and that's usually where the shots hurt me the most. I barely felt it. I had no pain during the extraction. It was fast and it was painless...I have never said that before about any dental experience before today. I am so grateful I found Apex Dental. Thank you to the nice lady that scheduled my appointment, the receptionist that checked me in, Caroline, and Dr. Dutton for taking good care of me! I have found my dentist in Alabama!"
