"I have had the privilege of being under the top-notch care of Dr. Rick Morgan since January 2016, and I can most confidently say that he is way more than an extraordinary endodontist. In fact, in my opinion, he is THE best endodontist in the Mobile area. Having had seven teeth treated by him over the years, I feel compelled to share my unwavering support and admiration for Dr. Morgan with a 10-star review. Yes, you don't see it wrong: I am giving him 10 stars out of a 5-star system! From the very first visit, Dr. Morgan's commitment to his profession and to his patients was abundantly clear. He possesses an extensive knowledge of endodontics and an unwavering dedication to providing the highest quality care. As a comparison, I had done the root canal on two teeth (#3 and #14) with a different endodontist — I wish I could share his name, but I decided to be kind. Both were not done correctly. It's well known that root canal re-treatment is much more challenging than the original one; yet, Dr. Morgan managed to do a MUCH nicer job than the other endodontist! Speaking of the reason, Dr. Morgan said, "He is a good dentist, but I am better." Since the re-treatment, Dr. Morgan has become my most trusted endodontist; in fact, the only one I trust. I mean, I already had the luck to find the best endodontist, why bother trying another one? His treatments are nothing short of masterful, and his precision and expertise in performing root canals are unmatched. Dr. Morgan's professionalism and attention to detail are truly commendable. He takes the time to explain every procedure thoroughly, making sure that I am well-informed and comfortable before any treatment commences. His use of cutting-edge technologies, including but not limited to powerful, high-tech operating microscopes, a digital x-ray system, and digital office systems, ensures that each procedure is efficient and virtually painless. What truly sets Dr. Morgan apart is his compassion and empathy. Dental procedures can be anxiety-inducing, but Dr. Morgan's calming and caring demeanor instantly puts his patients at ease. He demonstrates a genuine concern for my well-being, regularly checking on my comfort during each and every procedure. Over the years, I have come to appreciate not only Dr. Morgan's clinical excellence but also his commitment to patient care. He takes the time to address any questions or concerns, and his willingness to go the extra mile for his patients is evident in his thorough post-treatment follow-up. Last but not the least, the staff members in this clinic are just awesome, including but not limited to the office manager Ms. Meagan and the clinic assistant Melissa. They are very patient, considerate, and willing to go the extra mile to help me out. In summary, Dr. Rick Morgan is a remarkable endodontist, and I am grateful for the outstanding care he has provided for my seven teeth since January 2016. I wholeheartedly award him a 10-star rating. If you are in need of endodontic treatment, I cannot recommend Dr. Morgan highly enough. "I would give ten stars if I could. Dr. Morgan is extremely good at what he does. First and foremost, he treats you with respect and kindness. He takes the time to listen. There is not a hint of dismissiveness or superiority. He listens to every concern and takes the patient seriously. Secondly, and this is very important, he is extremely skilled, both in terms of diagnosis and workmanship. I do not only look for good bedside manner, but also a high level of skill with my issues surrounding difficulty getting numb and having had poor work done in the past that created more problems than it solved. I was very fearful the first time I saw him. In fact, I cried before he even came in the room because my experiences had been so traumatizing and humiliating and I was worried it would be more of the same. He was so reassuring and so kind. I immediately relaxed. And, for the first time that I could remember, I was properly numbed the first time. There was no "you HAVE to be numb!" I received two root canals in the same visit, which to me had been unthinkable, and it was no problem at all. He communicated with me the entire time and even made me laugh. I left feeling better than when I arrived. I had no pain the next day and the workmanship was excellent. Then, more recently, I went to a general dentist for some work, which had left me feeling in agonizing pain in two teeth, pain that did not exist before I went to this dentist. I went back to that dentist, who did not see anything on the x-rays and told me it was in my head. Being in tremendous pain, I went to a different dentist for a second opinion, who saw that there was an abscess and did a root canal. This root canal was a failed root canal and the area continued to hurt. Then I remembered Dr. Morgan. I bypassed the general dentist and went straight to him. He immediately diagnosed the problem. "I don't care if it doesn't show on the x-ray. Many things don't show on the x-ray." He explained to me the cause of my pain, understanding that me understanding was very important. He diagnosed the underlying issue, something two other dentists couldn't do, one of which was highly rated on Google Reviews. Dr. Morgan listened. He took me seriously. And he found the root cause (no pun intended). I look forward, with full trust, to the root canal retreats next week, a sentence I could never have even imagined uttering in the past. Next, Dr. Morgan knows his antibiotics, and he understands how drugs, not only infections, affect the body. The first antibiotic the othe dentist gave me had had made me very ill. Dr. Morgan switched me to different one, which knocked out the infection and was tolerated. Finally, I have never felt rushed. Usually, dentists have several people in the chair simultaneously and are running around from one person to another, often kind of high strung or stressed. I've never felt this way with him. I always have his undivided attention. Obviously, I highly recommend Dr. Morgan."

It was also incredibly thoughtful that they called after my procedure to make sure I was doing okay. I'll never let anyone else do a root canal other than him."

Dr. Morgan is very skilled and knowledgeable so the root canal was virtually painless. He and his nurse made sure the surgical area was numb and that I was comfortable before beginning.
