Reviews
"I’m a McCalla resident and love supporting surrounding small businesses. The Fold is a pretty reasonable, quaint boutique with really cute apparel. My problem lies with the young girls that the owner hires to represent her business. The first bad encounter was back when register was on left side when you enter. I entered and two young girls were standing at counter together and both looked up at me as I entered but neither greeted me, they just went back to what they were doing. I started to leave but saw something that I had to have. As they were checking me out I did engage them and tell that small businesses like The Fold truly need everyone who enters their doors to buy something in order to stay open. I told them when they made direct eye contact with me and then didn’t greet me I started to leave and they would have missed out on adding the money I was spending to their bottom line. They apologized and said they were too engulfed in trying to repair the computer. I said but it takes nothing to say hi to a customer who enters your establishment. The second bad encounter was recently. I entered store behind two Caucasian ladies and she greeted them but when she noticed me entering being them she looked as though she was shocked that I was entering and didn’t greet me. I did decide to leave this time. Owner: whomever you are please train your young ladies to treat all customers who enter the store the same and also to greet each and everyone who enters, no matter what task they’re involved in when the guest enters."
