Cora’s Restaurant in The White House Hotel

"Dinner started off with a 20 minute wait at our table for a waitress to approach us to offer us water. As for the Valentine Dinner,, we ordered Pasta Puttanesca and Pan Roasted Chicken. Pasta was not good at all!! It was mushy and cold. It looks like going to have dinner in a cheap restaurant. My boyfriend’s roasted chicken was tasting and well cooked, but too much seasoning on the skin and salty. Coffee looked warm but wasn’t hot. Dessert was the best dish of the night and the butter. Oh! Recommendation: hire a boss boy and another server. Our server was good but they were running like chicken without a head! I was anxious watching manager and servers rushing and walking too fast! You come to enjoy a nice dinner not to feel stress."

Then came the fourth course, desert….. oh, we never got it after a 30 minute wait. Just had to ask for our check. I guess a great way to end our Valentine Anniversary dinner."

"We have eaten a Cora’s several times the past couple of years and the menu and food was outstanding. , we went last night with friends who had never been and we had raves to them about the food however we suddenly realized the menu had changed and there was a new chef. We were disappointed that some of our favorites were no longer on the menu. Once we received our food, everyone at the table was complaining about the food and how terrible it was. At our table we had four different dishes and none of them were enjoyable. We won’t be back unless the previous chef and menu returns."

"Fabulous food & amazing service. My server was Michael. He was a very knowledgeable server. Very friendly and takes care of your every need. The three flavors of handmade butters were inspiring…..I loved the dessert too of cheesecake with raspberry sauce!"

"Thanksgiving at Coras restaurant in The White House Hotel, was a complete disappointment. No prime rib, as advertised, no gravy for the mashed potato, hard as rock brussel sprouts, cheese in the green bean casserole and $3 more was charged per person, than advertised. We were seated at a high table with bar like stool seats at the front of the hotel, and had to walk to the back of the hotel to get our food, and walk with our plates back to our seats, weaving in and out of people coming in. Our food was pretty much cold by the time we ate. $8 per drink, that we had to wait for until we had almost finished eating. $130 later, we left."
