"I would not recommend Dr. Merritt dental services. He has treated my niece so disrespectful. He put braces on her a couple of years back. He has never really been nice or helpful to her but we just ignored it. Well she has since had the braces took off but has some wires still attached. He has done such a horrible job putting the wires on and they keep braking and coming unattached. When she has went back he blames her for braking them on purpose. Look she is a 16 year old girl that is extremely careful and very self ware. She is in no way shape or form braking her wires on purpose. Dr. Merritt will not take responsibility for his mistakes and his horrible job of placing the wires on. He charged her a $100 to fix her wires again this is the 3RD time he has had to fix them. I normally do not write reviews like this, but enough is enough. His office staff is extremely wonderful and would give them an awesome review but Dr. Merritt is someone I would NOT recommend anyone to make an appointment with. He is someone that doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes and will blame a child for his mistakes then charge you extra for his mistakes. If you want a Honest Dentist I would not go to Dr. Merritt. Also I only gave him one star because to post this review I had too."

"We went there last week for a cleaning. I usually have a great experience. Everything went great but then they said they were referring kids out to Robin Lents office for now on because Merritt is planning to retire and is only doing cleaning. When I looked up the address for Lents I came across their rating of 1.7! Everyone on there was saying how they should be shut down. That the kids are mistreated and she does unnecessary work to get more from the insurance. Why would he send his kids over to this woman? I've always trusted his judgment but now I will always question if hes just as shady. So sad. I will never take my child to either now after reading Lents terrible reviews and him recommending her."

"Would not suggest this "dentist" to anyone after my son telling me that he told dr merritt that he was hurting him he then burnt the top of his mouth and my son bit his lip twice to the point of bleeding and sweeling for a week at a time while under his supervision they called me a liar and said it didnt happen under their care it happened under my supervision when i told them i wanted to go back with him so i could make sure it didnt happen again they refused to let me so we left"
