"My car had a light that came on the dash saying "reduced engine power" and my car wouldn't accelerate. It would still go, but only at a reduced speed. It scared me. I was able to continue driving the short distance to my house and it cranked fine after that and drove normal. Still... I was worried about such a thing happening. I had also previously had times when I was trying to accelerate and my car wouldn't and instead it would just rev up, but there was no acceleration. I thought maybe these two things were connected and maybe it would be best to have it checked. I took it to Mac's and dropped it off and mentioned that I was going out of town soon. I was attending a wedding. They had the car ready the next day. I actually called the next day, before they called and told me it was ready, and I mentioned that the air conditioner would sometimes not function, but then, suddenly become available again. I wasn't sure what was causing this to go in and out, as when it works, it works perfect, and very cooling. The person that answered the phone said he would mention it, but since I didn't mention it when I dropped it off, I may have to bring it back. He advised that they were going to focus on what I mentioned at the drop off. I said, that's okay. I was just mentioning it and it had dawned on me that I should have said something, since summer is approaching. Anyhow, they called later that day and I called them back thinking they might were going to ask questions about the air conditioner and instead they said, the car was ready. Wow. Ready - the very next day after drop off. I wasn't expecting that. But I was glad it was ready in time for me to go out of town and not have to worry about any car issues. That's why I wanted to get it checked for sure. As soon as I cranked my car, I noticed the air conditioner was functioning immediately, whereas normally, I had to drive a while before it came on and sometimes it would go out and not come back on until it unpredictably and randomly came back on. It seemed to be working immediately upon cranking the car and I mentioned that when I paid and they said maybe what they fixed also fixed the issue with the air conditioner. I wanted to test it out as I was going out of town and I didn't have any trouble with the air conditioner on my trip. It worked beautifully the whole time. I've had my car back almost 2 months and the air conditioner has been functioning so far, which is wonderful, considering this heat in the summer. I know the air conditioner wasn't the mechanical issue that I brought it in for, but both the mechanical issue and the air conditioner are functioning wonderfully. I would recommend this place of business and I would use this business again, in the future. work: R&R throttle body clean and relearn and repaired a wire to the throttle body"

"I was visiting from Colorado in my 1990 RV and the a/c compressor went bad during the trip. After making it to Meridian my brother recommeded Mac's since he does vehicle maintenance for the school district. They were able to work me in and fix the a/c for my trip back. I highly recommend them. The only drawback was he did not have room to safely store large vehiles overnight."

He treated us very respectfully and called around to try to help us. He only billed us for $50.00 when he spent several hours trying to help us out. We were very impressed with his professional and courteous customer care. We highly recommend him. If we lived in Meridian, he would be our mechanic."
