"Drove by, spoke with Will Netherton,Got the issue RESOLVED CHEAPLY, LEFT SATISFIED with SERVICE"
"Had a timing belt kit installed on my MK6 TDI Golf. Top quality service at a price you can't beat anywhere else. Would not hesitate to take my car back for any other work I can't do myself."
"Had some work done on my vehicle here to address overheating problems. The mechanic replaced multiple items including the temperature sensor and thermostat. He then called us to come pick up the vehicle, saying it was ready. When we got there it was immediately obvious the car was in no condition to drive home. The temp indicator went immediately all the way in the red as soon as the car was started. Turns out, the sensor he installed was bad. We waited for a new one, and I understand the chance of getting a bad new sensor, it happens, but he should have noticed that when he " test drove it". After replacing the sensor, the car was still having overheating issues, so I decided to let him keep it and replace the water pump. Two weeks later he called to tell me it's ready. I asked if he let it idle to confirm it wasn't overheating. He said yes, that he checked the temps. When we got there to pick it up, he wasn't there. We called and waited for the owner to come so we could up the vehicle, but when he got there, it was obvious that the car wasn't "ready". It wouldn't even start! It was making some terrible grinding sound when I tried to turn the engine over. The shop owner heard it and acknowledged that there was obviously a problem and the car wasn't ready. We leaft it there again. The mechanic calls me about an hour later to tell me "it's ready". When asked about the noise and why it wouldn't start he says it must have just been "a bad spot on the flywheel". In three years the car has never done that before and he wasn't even working on the starter or flywheel. It seems very mysterious to me how the car suddenly developed a bad spot on the flywheel after he said it was ready, but he wouldn't offer any other explanation. So after having my car get progressively worse on every attempt to pick it up we went a third time. After paying him, I asked what was going on with the car, and he became very hostile. He said to take my car and get out of there. He didn't want our business, and if there was still a problem with the car, not to bring it back. Unsurprising, the car immediately overheated upon leaving. I had a tow truck bring it home."
