"I wasn't going to do a review but I kept finding things that didn't work that did work before TPS worked on my truck. I had a LS swap done in my son's 94 Silverado 4wd. They called me and stated the truck was ready. When I inspected the truck, it ran great but under the hood it looked like a rat nest. None of the old wiring harness was removed. The dash gauges didn't work which I asked for them to work. After taking the truck home, we found out that the brake lights and windshield wipers didn't work anymore. I was told that a tune would be done but that didn't happen either. And the final reason that changed my mind about doing a review is the 4wd doesn't work. Everything worked correctly in this truck before the LS swap. I had an LS motor with it's transmission swapped from a donor truck that was at their shop. The only good things they did was physically installed the motor, transmission, and got the LS ac compressor working in this project. TPS may do great work for other people but they didn't do great work for me. I won't be using them for any future projects. Update; I found another issue with my truck that TPS created. The belt edge facing the motor got damaged. We found that the belt was rubbing the alternator's bottom mounting bolt. We removed the belt and found that the bolt wasn't even in the alternator. The alternator would pivot (swing) on the top mounting bolt. It was sitting against the bottom bolt. We put a new belt (same size) on. We found that it was a little too long which is why the alternator was mounted like it was. We installed a shorter belt and now the belt doesn't rub the alternator bolt. I noticed the belt tensioner didn't look right with the longer belt and now we know why. I took the truck to another shop who repaired everything that TPS couldn't get working. Everything is now working like it was before the LS swap. I told TPS several times that everything worked correctly in this truck before the LS swap. And now when you look under the hood, the motor looks like it came in the truck from the factory. When I got the truck back from TPS, it looked like a big rats nest under the hood. I do not recommend using TPS Race!"
"These guys were more than willing to help me solve an issue that had nothing to do with anything they did. Volunteered information readily, volunteered a bit of labor toward finding a solution, and referred me to a capable machine shop that could handle the problem when it became evident they did not have the right equipment on hand to solve the problem. Great group of folks here!"
"Great people fabulous work! We love Nico"
"I stop to my ac checked because it was blowing hot air on Tuesday after about an hour they said that the compressor was working as it should, they than said bring it back tomorrow and they would check a filter in the air-conditioning line so after giving $62.40 I left and returned today after about a half hour they said the filter would have to be replaced that it stopped up .so I said how much to replace it they said it will be $283.00 so I said are you sure this will fix my the manager said I guarantee it ok do it so about hour and half later he in and tells me my compressor is bad and it's going to be another almost $400.00 for compressor and then asked how much do I owe right now and he said $227.76 and I asked what about you guaranteeing it and then that's when he started coming up with all kind of excuses I knew I had to pay the $227.76 to be able to get my car away from that business the owners wife was there I looking for her step in but she never did so in all it cost me $290.16 and drove away the same way I came ac blowing hot air. BEWARE OF BAD ACTORS"
"I brought my 2007 Audi A4 in to have timing chain tensioner/pulley replaced(engine was making a peculiar noise and my normal mechanic said he thought that would be the issue but he didn't work that much on Audis). I dropped it off and was told it would be about 3 days until they could get it done and ready. I called back on day 3 and was told it wasn't ready, day 4 the same, and on the 5th day finally I was informed I was good to go. I came to pick it up and they had destroyed the engine bay plastic trim and tried to glue it back together(they didn't mention any of it until I asked what happened). "Oh these old plastic parts get hot and brittle, it's normal for it to just break." Sooo they broke a ton of plastic and tried to hide it. They did change out the pulley then informed me the problem was actually on top of the engine, a small leak from a vacuum hose. So after spending ~8 man hours replacing the pulley, water pump, and one other part on the front of the engine, they decide to fix the leak and charge me ~$1200 bucks for the fix. He then tells me I also have an a/c compressor leak(A/c worked great when I dropped it off?). So a week later I go to charge the a/c and there isn't so much a leak as it won't hold a bit of freon, coming out as fast as it goes in. If I could rate them a negative 10 out of 10 I would; they broke more than they fixed and made it out to be normal stuff that happens, and not their problem. If you want your car fixed right, and not returning with 12 more problems than it had, steer clear of TPS."
