"I was quoted a new patient price of $69 for x-rays, cleaning and Dr follow up. I show up and fill out the 14 pages of irrelevant forms (typical for Cahaba). Erica calls me back and does the x-rays and then does a thorough pre-exam. She was very friendly and completed the exam. At that point she informs me it will be an additional $600 for a “deep cleaning”. Mind you, I’ve had my teeth cleaned every 3-6 months for the past 55 years. I’m not saying I didn’t need it, but it came as a shock. She then informs me that a basic cleaning is not included in the price quoted and unfortunately the “girls” often misquote the special (mind you I verified at least 3 times - X-rays, cleaning and Dr review when I booked the appointment ). Needless to say, a $69 cleaning that (had to be prepaid) becomes a $669 cleaning is crazy. I decided to leave before Dr. Clyde arrived (it had already been almost an hour). Erica informed me that my $69 would not be refunded. I could only respond, “Keep it, y’all obviously need it more than me”. The staff was friendly and they seemed to be sincere, however, this is CLEARLY an up-sell business….or at the very least a gross misrepresentation of the “special”. And we wonder why so many in Bibb are missing teeth? Why can’t anyone just clean your teeth…. Even if the patient signs a waiver for recommended dental treatment? You need to start somewhere! SO disappointed it the lack of training for staff and misrepresentation!"

"The workers at CMD are absolutely the best! They explained everything to me and made sure all of my questions were answered. They even made me feel at ease and definitely none judgmental. I was definitely scared to go since I haven't been to the Densist since 2001. They made you feel like family and remember your name!"
