He makes certain you are pain-free and takes an inordinate amount of time to explain what he plans to do and how he will accomplish your successful procedure. "Great root canal experience! Never thought I'd say that, ever. Doc did great! It's like all they do is root canals lol. But don't get the gas add on! I admit they warned me or said I didn't need it but I was nervous. So I splurged for the non insurance covered $100 extra. It did nothing. I don't know if it was broke or what but I tried telling them and during the process the doctor just said breathe deeper and then afterwards I told other staff and they were like "sorry Charlie, that sucks" ! So minus one star cuz I feel kind of ripped off on that. But otherwise, great stuff! SaS_E root"

"Avoid like the plague! Referred by my dentist for possible root canal. The billing person is extremely short, and outright rude, not to mention untruthful. She called stating my insurance was not part if their plans and as such I would be responsible for paying all fees upfront and then get reimbursed from my insurance. She was vehement that my Delta Dental insurance through my husbands work was secondary to my Medicare Advantage plan which is a PPO. This is incorrect, but when I attempted to explain that my working spouses coverage was primary to my Medicare she stated she’s been doing this for 20 years and I am wrong. She’s been doing it wrong for 20 years, maybe. Then when I wondered why my dentist referred me to an endodontist who was out if network with my secondary insurance she stated, “Because we are the only endodontist office in the area.” Flat out lie. After canceling my first appointment for family emergency (totally understandable) they then canceled my new appointment because they had overbooked my appointment day. Apparently I didnt rank high enough to be one of the lucky ones. Every time I have spoken with this office I am treated as though seeing me is going to be a great imposition. They are NOT the only endodontist in the Florence, Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia area and I recommend any who are considering this office save your time and stress and just call someone else."

"Dr. Carol Smith did my root canal today and I am so impressed. My tooth was difficult, but she did great. I was super nervous and she made me feel comfortable, they even gave me a pillow and blanket. Overall, a wonderful experience. The lady who helped Dr. Smith was also great along with the front desk ladies. I highly recommend this office for any root canal needs."
