Reviews of CO/OP Community Table + Bar
"This morning we went to CO/OP for the second time and were blown away AGAIN. First the best part for us is the service, we had the same waitress Lori both times and she was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Not to mention she saw that it was my wife’s birthday and made a point to celebrate her while we were eating in a super special way! On top of this the food is delicious, it reminds me of an elevated home cooked meal. The food sourcing is thoughtful and the dishes are prepared very well, the 2 biggest hits for us were the Roasted Chicken and Dumplings and the French Toast today. It’s been 2 great experiences and we will be back many times this year!"
"I dined here for dinner with Meals and Melanin Network and ordered the short rib. I did sub mashed potatoes for the sweet potato and my meal was DELICIOUS. The short rib was juicy and falling apart. Well seasoned and paired well with the mashed potatoes. Dinner was much better than the brunch experience we had here last week."
"Lori provided great service to our group of about 22 ladies on 9/29/23. I just wanted to say thanks again to Lori, as well as Kay, for being very accommodating to us as we celebrated our special event during AAMU Homecoming weekend. The "Ladies in Red" are still talking about the great food & fun we experienced. We truly appreciate you going above and beyond. ❤️"
"I can’t say enough about this restaurant. 6/5 stars if possible. Beginning with the atmosphere, it’s perfectly lit, everything is new and clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The live music is a perfect touch and not too loud. The service- outstanding. Our server Amy was fantastic and gave excellent recommendations based off our preferences which she took the time to ask and get to know. I hope the restaurant reads this review and gives her a big shout out. The drinks were stellar. Highly recommend the signature drink with bourbon in it. The food was top notch. Everything we ordered was cooked and flavored to perfection. (I wasn’t super hungry so I got the basic cheeseburger, but it was still very good and reasonably priced) DO NOT FORGET THE DESSERT. The banana pudding might have been the best I’ve ever had. Will be back here again, and if you got this far in my review, you need to go here for anything from casual drinks with friends, fancy date night, or business meetings."
"The decor and service was fantastic. This is a very nice, new restaurant. We started with the smoked wings, which were good but they seemed fried vs. smoked. My wife had the chicken and dumplings, which is basically a half chicken on top of some sauce and gnocchi. She liked it and said it had good flavor but needed more sauce and gnocchi. I had the prime New York strip and at first I thought the steak was strange and maybe even frozen. Turns out it is grass fed beef, which has a different color and texture than grain fed beef. This should be noted on the menu. I wouldn’t get it again. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant but we probably won’t be back."
