Reviews of VALUEMART Food Center
"Best customer service in Holland! Always well stocked, clean store with an abundance of options for all!"
"People there are very rude! They yelled at my husband just because he's left handed and the guy at the counter said "you're doing it wrong". There no wrong way to do it! Not to mention I've always had a problem with the people having an attitude for no reason. DO NOT GO HERE!"
"What's the point frickin point of having signs put up on pump stations to alert people that being on a cell phone while pumping gas may cause a FIRE cause DEATH which could involve others around the pump as well while selfish dumb A** people don't wanna read the rules and obey them. But then to find out the short prick arrogant male working as the gas station attendant working this morning at 9:50am May 20 2017. Gives a responce back to my face (yes I'll get right on top of that.) Hey owners why don't you pull this guy aside and teach him how to talk to a woman right or wait you probably talk the same to woman like that as well otherwise why else would have you hired him. Fu** this store and owners for hiring such careless lack of men to wanna care for a customers call of help to tell the other pump to get off there phone it's only protecting the gas station and others around he saw and he did nothing. Don't give this place you're time or money cause they don't give a shi* about your life. If a fire does happen then you'll know both parties would lose and you'd win a lawsuit. GBTYC ! God bless!"
"The people are rude as hell and are very unkind for no reason. That is not how workers treat their customers! In America that is against customer service policy. No matter how the customer treats you, you are supposed to still smile and be kind. I work at a gas station as well and i would get fired if i treated a customer the way this man treated me! Never going there again!"
"Their prices stay about 2 centa above the Admiral stations in the area. However, I will NEVER go back there again, even though it's right on my street. The proprietor treated me rudely and with condescension [I'm a 70 year old female]. I went into the store asking if I ordered more gas than my tank could take, would the difference be automatically credited or would I need to go back into the office. Simple question, most quality stations these days do an automatic credit back and if you want a receipt you either get it automatically at the pump or you have to go inside. Station policies vary. He sneered at me saying that if I don't know exactly how much I need that I should swipe it at the pump. I said I don't do that because of the skimmer/security situation [at least two skimmers found in Holland in the prior few weeks alone]. That's why I come into the office. He laughed at my concerns, even waving his hand dismissively, saying "everything is safe, it's not a problem," still chuckling. He would not answer my question except to say that if I wanted to pay inside I "would have to guess accurately what you want." I picked an amount less that I would otherwise have spent, cussed him out under my breath, and vowed to never return to this conveniently-located "business." So sad, some people are still stuck in the last century. Two stars gained for pricing, three stars lost for horrible customer experience."
