"Came in from out of town, I live 4 hours away and I wanted to try some shaved ice. The website literally says you're open, only for me to be met with disappointment to find out that you are in fact not open. Maybe change your times online so people aren't disappointed"

"I would give it a 5 but I ordered blue cotton candy and the employee yelled out my name with blue coconut order. I told him I ordered blue cotton candy. I should have stood there to watch him make a new one. He then gave me another one. Again it was blue coconut! By then my granddaughters took bites out of it. I was disappointed! And so were they."

"Friendly staff, good prices and very tasty shaved ice. Got a small and was amazed at how much you get. Great for a warm day and a walk on the boardwalk in Grand Haven."

"I didn't know this place existed and I did a local search I was sure wouldn't find anything for "shaved ice" but I found this gem!!! Plus I could only have sugar free at the time and they have some flavors that aren't bland, like I had expected. I was sure I saw little baby angels fly away when the menu had sugar free blue raspberry! It's my favorite flavor ever. This place did not disappoint with the options and flavors. There was a bit of an odd moment where all three employees stood around staring at each other and not acknowledging that I was at the counter waiting. My friend and I wondered if we were wearing invisible cloaks. Once they did wait a few minutes they did finally start talking to us it was fine. Overall, I do recommend Halaula Hawaiian Shaved Ice."
