Piggly Wiggly

"For YEARS I have gotten cash back at the Elkmont Piggly Wiggly and been able to do two transactions to get more than $25 back. Sent my husband up there to do it today and they said he couldn’t even though we literally just did it last week. Then while the cashier was saying she couldn’t do it he hit the wrong button to not get cash back could she go back or cancel out the transaction so he could at least get some cash back. She shrugged her shoulders and turned her back on him, so he got his things and left. Learn some customer service! If your policy changed that’s FINE but don’t ignore someone completely. I’ve noticed past few times being in there that cashiers are awful, on phones, ignoring customers, talking with each other and completely ignoring customers, I’ve even thanked them and had both cashier and bagger ignore me before. I will be sharing how awful this piggly wiggly is, and will no longer shop here, always shopped before because it was close, convenient, and all the workers were kind, happy helpful, that’s gone downhill bad in the past couple months."

"I know teenagers are cheap labor, but please teach them how to provide customer service. They don't greet you when you walk in, they are on their cell phones instead of paying attention to customers, they don't give you your total after they ring you up and if there's 2 of them working the 1 bagging doesn't even put the bags in your cart they just stand there."

"A guy with us has a problem with his bike. We called them and they worked him in the next day, fixed the problem, and didn't overcharge."

"It's a place where everyone knows everyone. Very friendly southern hospitality. Someone will even rescue you with battery cables if your battery is dead. If your going to shop here often you really should have the app."
