"I spoke to Joy trying to explain what I am doing, and why I am doing what I am doing. She said she charges $75.00 an hour which is fine. I have the $$ to pay, and wanted some of her time, and opinions to get my paperwork in order. She said she had paying clients, and didn't have time to speak with me. You should "NEVER" treat a perspective client this way, I never at any time said I would not pay. I absolutely had the money to pay. I got a very bad feeling from her. I strongly recommend others to stay far far away. An accountant. should be willing to listen to clients, and help them get everything in order. I will find someone who is willing to be helpful. I would strongly "Not" recommend dealing with this firm. This is a response to the owners response on my review. Joy not at any time did I ask you to do this for free. I asked your rates, and you stated $75.00 per hour. I also asked how long you felt it would take if I could send you the information to get a idea on cost. Joy I said I wanted a hand to figure this out. I absolutely have the $$ to pay. I have reached out to another accountant, and they are willing to help. I got a really bad vibe off her. I tried explaining why am I doing what I am, and wanted a hand to figure everything out. I would never expect someone to perform a job without being paid. I asked If I could send her the information, and get a idea of cost. She made it quite clear she felt I was not a valued client. I feel you need to listen to clients, and try to help them create and figure out the correct methods, and procedures to move forward. You seemed very much unwilling to provide a good service. I wish you the best of luck, but with treating clients this way I fear your business will only suffer over time."
