"This was a really cool place. The decor and feel was awesome. The service was great. The food was good, but not the good you expect for the price. It's on the pricier side. Was I happy with my meal. Yes. Did my wallet agree, but not as much."
"This was my first visit to “The Pub” and I was not disappointed! We arrived at 4:40 and the place was getting packed after just ten minutes of opening the door. We ordered the chicken supreme with white cream gravy and almonds with cheese grits and a side salad with the house Greek dressing. The dressing was incredible!!!! My only complaint is that they only serve spring mix and do not have romaine or iceberg lettuce. I’m not a fan of spring mix. I had the 12oz ribeye with fried okra and onion rings. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and it was amazing! The onion rings were homemade and very good. The batter was a little thick for my taste but I still ate a few. The okra was fresh and delicious! I can’t believe I waited this long to check this place out and I will definitely be back!"
"First time here. What a pleasant surprise. Jesse, our server, did a great job. She was positive and had a great, continual smile. Came back to our table multiple times to make sure we were pleased with our meals or needed anything. Definitely deserved the extra gratuity. The food was outstanding and perfectly done. The grilled 13 oz. pork chop tasted like a steak. It was the tastiest and most tender pork chop I've ever eaten which I told the GM who visited our table. Seafood gumbo was also very delicious. Our experience was top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant."
"Found this place randomly and wasn't disappointed. The staff was friendly and there was a nice vibe for a Wednesday night. The food was tasty, the waiter gave good recommendations, and the price wasn't too high. Nice menu selection. Overall a good value."
"Found another great place to eat. Went for a ride Saturday and found ourselves in Montgomery, AL, and stopped by Charles Anthony's for dinner. Great food and great service. We ordered glasses of wine to go along with our entrees. Hubby ordered the Fried combination seafood platter, which included fried shrimp, oysters, trout, deviled crab, and hush puppies along with a sweet potato and okra. I ordered the Grilled red snapper with a house salad and white rice. We finished our meal with coffee and bread pudding. This meal made the trip worthwhile since we came all the way over from Forsyth, GA."
