"Whew, Chile. I tried Cava recently in Madison, AL, and it was banging. I am trying to eat healthier, and the Chicken Bowl didn't disappoint. I was able to try the Hummus and Chicken before I made my decision on what to order. I love that greens can be added as a base. The price was reasonable, not over $12.00 for a healthy meal. The fact that I can get two meals out of this one bowl is the icing on the cake. Go try this Mediterranean establishment and thank me later. Oh, and I forgot to add that the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable too. Cheers to healthy eating peeps!"

"(ADDENDUM DEC-2023): Felt worth mentioning that since my original post, food portions seem to have improved. Not sure if it was corrective action or just a bad stretch, nonetheless has been just fine in recent several visits! (ORIGINAL POST NOV-2023): We’ve come to really like Cava generally. You can eat healthy, the staff is friendly, it’s convenient, so we’ve made it a ‘go-to’ at least 3 times a week. Definitely still more positive than negative, and certainly recommend, and we’ll be back, but… one thing that really needs reconsideration—super skimpy portions! I may be eating clean & light but still…for $12 my bowl needs more in it! It’s only salad! Perhaps we’ll start only in-store ordering where we can directly ask because this is how it has come recently from app pick-up."

"So disappointing. We love CAVA, and ate there frequently in NOVA. This is a new location, so you wouldn't expect such skimpy portions. Neither green and grain bowl was full to the first line in the bowl, and that was even with asking for another scoop. There was such a long line, with four people cooking and only one serving, and we arrived 8 minutes after opening. Your bathrooms were not clean or stocked with toilet paper or paper towels. Not a good impression. I will just drive further to eat the the one in Huntsville."
