"Great park. Plenty of traditional hiking trails of varying difficulty. Paved paths for walking and biking. Several playgrounds throughout. My only challenge is most restrooms are closed unless the attached pavilion ia rented and there are no outhouses so it's a but of an adventure to find one open to go."
"It's a huge park with lots of trails to walk or bike. They have a lot of Pavillions you could rent out for events. They have a swimming area as well as a nature center. You can also fish in some areas of the park or you can put a boat in the water to fish. They have a nature center for children to learn about local creatures and habitats. It does cost some money to get in, but it is worth it, in my opinion. They do have bathroom facilities and playgrounds for children to play on as well. Nice place to spend the day and relax or have a picnic."
"Another beautiful Oakland county park! It's a metro park, so you need a pass to get in. This metro park is great for all kinds of activities: paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, picnicking, and of my favorite, birding! You can even reserve some areas of the park for events. There are many trails that circumvent the lake in the middle of the park, and there's a nature center where I'm sure they host a number of events, such as summer camps for kids; check it out! Lastly, dogs are allowed, but please pick up after them so everyone can enjoy the park. Highly recommend!"
"Best beach ever! I like that in the afternoon there are shade from the trees at the beach. There are picnic tables, grills, and a playground next to the beach. There is a beautiful hicking/biking trail. Clean restrooms. Awesome park"
