"Ate at Maplestreet this past Saturday. It did not disappoint. We ordered the five and dime and an egg and bacon plate. The amount of food is insanely large. The Five and Dime was perfect with chicken, bacon, cheese, and egg on a biscuit smothered in gravy. The bacon and eggs were cooked great. It can get crowded but when we arrived, we did not have a wait. The atmosphere could be better- only because there is limited seating but we found a spot and enjoyed our meal!!!"
"A group of us wanted brunch from a new restaurant that we haven’t visited. We chose Maple Street. We enjoyed every minute of it. The biscuits were delicious as well and their jam. We will return again"
"My fiancés mother and I decided to stop here on a whim and we could not be more happier. The atmosphere is so welcoming, only took about 15 mins to get our food FRESH, and they even gave us 2 free meals because one of our original orders lacked sausage, but they MADE IT RIGHT !! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and had no problem telling us about the criteria of certain items, speaking that we had never been here. We are currently enjoying our food, which is WONDERFUL and SO GOOD BY THE WAY, and the wonderful atmosphere as well. If you’re in downtown Birmingham, STOP HERE ! You WONT regret it one bit !"
"Food: fantastic! Biscuits and gravy, super yum. That gravy has a kick to it y’all. Be prepared. Chicken biscuit sandwich for the kiddo was eaten down to the last crumb. The biscuit sandwich with apple butter sounded amazing in theory, however the apple butter was ice cold and ladled on so thick that it didn’t live up to the hype. Atmosphere: the dining area is easy and inviting. Lots of big tables for large parties. Service: a bit brisk, maybe because they are just banging out orders left and right. Random observation: The tables were super sticky. Maybe due to people loving on the maple syrup for their chicken & waffles? No biggie. But I was surprised at the state of the bathrooms on the day we went. Especially after waiting what seemed like 15 mins to use the restroom after a staff member who seemed unfazed at leaving it without any toilet paper, paper towels or even flushing the toilet. I’ll chalk it up to a stressful Saturday, but it was an uncomfortable situation in an otherwise enjoyable setting."
"Not what I expected. We got a variety of things to split. The omelet was cooked in a waffle iron, it was chewy and didn't have much to it. The potatoes were ok, good flavor. Biscuit was good, caution if you want apple butter it's $1.50 extra. Cinnamon biscuit was crumbly and over sweet. We had to serve ourselves and bus our own table, so I'm not sure why they asked for a tip at checkout."
