"This park was a perfect spot to visit while waiting for my passengers to be done visiting family. The restroom was super clean and the park was in great condition. The pier by the lake was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to whoever takes care of this facility."
"Every year the park is cleaner and prettier. It has a great long stretch for a dog walk or stroller, leading to a boating access. Great picnic area, horseshoe pits, playground, volleyball net, dock to walk out on, and restrooms. Very peaceful and pretty"
"Good stop along the highway with clean restrooms, picnic shelter and lots of room to play. Memorial dedicated to famous magician Harry Blackstone who lived in Colon."
"This is a nice park, with lots of features and personality the community came together to create. Now complete, it could use some additional community involvement to maintain. The walking path is enjoyable. Looking forward to returning to the area to kayak."
"This place has lots of little treasures. A small flower garden (though I didn't get to see any flowers due to the timing, it looks promising), a trail alongside the lake, a small wooden pavilion for a small group, a much larger one for a large party, lots and lots of benches, a small (plastic) dock nearby, a lovely sculpture of kids reading a book, a birdhouse and, of course, a playground. The playground is not huge but large enough. The view of the lake is nice as well. Lovely place overall."
