Ruff & Tumble Dog Park
About the Business
Ruff & Tumble Dog Park is a spacious and beautiful park located at 950 Bond Street in Niles, Michigan. The City of Niles has generously provided us with an acre and a half of space along the St. Joseph River for dogs to play and socialize. The park features separate entrances and play areas for both large and small dogs, as well as shaded areas and water access during the warmer months.
We are dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership through educational programs, recreational activities, and training opportunities. Our goal is to help dog owners develop a stronger bond with their canine companions and become valued members of the community. Please note that puppies under 4 months of age are not allowed in the park, and proof of vaccination may be requested.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support and contributions of our community to keep the park running smoothly. We are grateful for your commitment to our park and encourage you to participate in our events and activities. Training classes are also available at Echo Club and Bunk and Biscuit for ongoing support.
If you're unsure whether your dog is ready for the dog park, the AKC has provided a helpful article on the topic. We are located at 18 North 4th Street, Niles, Michigan 49120, and look forward to welcoming you and your furry friend to Ruff & Tumble Dog Park. Thank you for being part of our pack!

"This is a well maintained, sizeable dog park. There's an area for the small dogs, and a huge area for the big dogs. I have two small girls and they love it here! Tucked back along the river and quiet."
"My baby and I absolutely LOVE this park. We go sometimes 2-3 times a day when it's warm out. Always nice folks down there and dogs get along well."
"I traveled with my German Shepherd from Massachusetts to visit my sister who works at Indian! After the long ride to the area, I had trouble to find places for my pup to play. Finally, this is the BEST and the cleanest dog park we have ever visited since she was a puppy!!!!! Poo bags and water fountain are accessible! Strongly recommend and highly rated for the park for who wants bring their pups to a dog park."
"We loved this park for my girls bc they have a mini obstacle course, hill, and mini forest. Everyone I've seen there is super kind and nice. My only complaint is the water has shut off for the winter, and there is no other water source or place for humans to go to the bathroom...I would just recommend bringing in your own water source like a jug of water. They have plenty of bowls but just no water."
"It’s taken me so long to find this dog park! I love how it’s tucked away. It’s fairly spacious and my dogs love it already. I can’t wait for summer days at this park!"
