Steak 'n Shake

"First time our food was terrible at the restaurant in Mobile. Fries were good, but the burgers were not made the way they were supposed to be made. The milk shakes were almost totally liquid."

"This was the last time I visit Steak n shake. The food was horrible and the customer service was sub par. I ordered a Frisco burger and was giving the ends of the bread. I ordered a single and it had nothing on it. This is way there was no cars there or in the parking lot. The food has went down considerably."

"Listen.. all I can say is, it is what it is... I go there because I like some of the people that work there and they take good care of me. I like to go at breakfast, it's never busy inside and I can get a couple of waffles and a cup of coffee for less than $5. I don't have to tell you that right now in this economy, you can't beat that. I wish I could have given them more stars, but I know what an actual 4 and 5 star restaurant is like, so I think I'm being generous."

"Very good place for steak and shakes. The location is right off the exit, so it is very convenient for travelers. They make the food pretty fast, so there are no complaints from me. The combo is great, and I love food from steak and shakes, but it is like 1300 calories, so I only eat here on my cheat days."

"My friends and I stopped here back on our way to Texas and the service was immaculate!! They were so friendly and very fast. I got my order probably 7 minutes after I ordered. I’ve been craving Steak-n-Shake and the milkshakes here were better than the ones I had in Florida. So good!! I got the Peanut Butter Cup milkshake and they didn’t overdo it with the Reese’s cup to where it’s too peanut butter-y but they had enough in the milkshake to make it worth it. The fries were fresh and hot - I like to dip them in the milkshake and they didn’t fall apart so solid fries!! It was also pretty cheap - only cost me $10 for a combo meal with a milkshake. 5/5 would recommend people to come here!!"
