"I recently visited Sam's Super Burger in Grand Bay, and it truly lives up to its reputation as an institution with its amazing food. However, there are a few factors that make it less convenient for frequent visits. While I can't deny the deliciousness of their food, I must say that the prices at Sam's Super Burger tend to be on the higher side compared to national fast-food chains. This, coupled with the slower service, has led me to opt for the national chains in town more often. My go-to order at Sam's Super Burger is their chicken tenders, which are absolutely phenomenal. Each tender is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. However, the cost of approximately $3 per single tender makes it difficult to enjoy them as frequently as I would like. Despite the higher prices and slower service, I wholeheartedly believe that Sam's Super Burger is a local gem that deserves support. Their exceptional food sets them apart from the rest, making it worth a visit whenever the budget allows."

"Great little restaurant/ fast food place. You do have a drive through here but you’re food is actually made from scratch. Great “old fashioned “ feel which I love! Very friendly staff consist of young people. Food was very delicious! Those chicken strips were so juicy and flavorful! Burgers where very tasty! Smothered hamburger steak was good as well. Will definitely return to this place in the future!"

"I’ve read many positive reviews about Sam’s Super Burger and I do love a good burger so I was looking forward to giving them a try. My wife were out and about looking at properties and happened to be driving towards Sam’s when we decided to get a bite to eat. We arrived later in the afternoon and the drive through was busy but only three tables had folks sitting at them. My wife and I ordered at the counter and our food arrived in a timely fashion without issue. While we waited for our food I read a few of the reviews on Sam’s Google site and while they still maintained a good rating I noted that a couple of the reviews claimed that Sam’s was their go to burger place but that the quality of the food had slipped. Perhaps this explains why such a well recommended spot delivered such mediocre food. The burger patty tasted low quality and was over cooked. It wasn’t burned but they cooked all of the flavor out of the patty. In addition, the bacon and the fries were overcooked. Overall, Sam’s Super Burger didn’t kill me or give me the runs but I don’t ever see a reason to return."
