Waffle House

"Went to Waffle House on Hwy 90 in Gautier with my friend for brunch. Should have had a clue when we walked up to the door with the music blasting outside. Sat down and could barely hear the young woman waiting on us asking for our order. Repeatedly asked her to turn the music down. She did, but the manager and other stuff thought it was funny and kept turning it up even higher. There were several other customers who also asked to have it turned down and they did the same thing. They were more interested in catering to their buddies who thought it was funny than the customers actually eating food. My friend said she's been there several times in the past several months and the same few people are sitting sucking down gallons of coffee taking up space never ordered food and encouraged them to play the music loud and management goes with it. Also the food was barely warm even though there were only 6 customers ordering food. The server had to be asked several times for things we needed. I don't know if it was because she was upset because she was stressed with the situation or she couldn't hear because of the music. Definitely won't be back until owner makes a major change with management."

"The employees here are outstanding each of the 10 or so times I've been here. Just went here late Monday night and the grill master with the golden grill shirt was impressive. I've owned a restaurant and was thinking that I wish I would have had this guy. Waffle house dictates the food so it is what it is, but they make it as good, if not better, than most of the other waffle house restaurants I've been to across the country. Owner, understand and appreciate what you have. Not saying you don't though."

"I will drive to this waffle house when I know Rick is cooking and Erica is waiting tables.. They both know their job and make you feel welcome. Erica goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Always happy to see you come back remembers what you like and your name... Great team work there.."

"Update- Another great visit and a great meal. The hashbwns were on point :) Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Waffle house is always one of those places you can depend on to be consistent and get a good old-fashioned bacon-and-eggs kind of breakfast. This location was clean, well staffed and overall good service. I'll be back."

"We went to breakfast at the Restruant in Gautier, MS. As usual, we used Google maps to find it. It was easy access from the highway and a short distance from the interstate. Although the parking lot was almost full when we got there we were able get parked close to the door. The Restruant was very busy when we went in. There were two parties ahead of us, but it only took us ten minutes to get a table. The orders were ready in about ten minutes. Two of our party had the full breakfast with bacon, waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. My wife had a smaller version of the full breakfast and I had the hashbrowns bowl with shredded steak. Kendle was our server. She was very pleasant and efficient. The food was delicious and there wasn't much left between the four of us. While eating we watched the grill crew work. No wasted motion, very vocal. At the peak of the breakfast rush the store manager jumped in and ran that crew like clockwork. Very impressive to watch. We'll probably be back if we're in the area."
