"First time walking this park, such a beautiful place. A must walk if you're in the area"
"Been here 5 times, still finding new trails. Trails are unmarked but are a non-issue for those with a decent sense of direction and never more than a 15 minute correction for anyone who takes the wrong turn. Great for dogs, varied terrain from forest to grass makes it feel bigger than it is. Great spot for "urban" hiking in nature."
"Great park but do not attempt to go down the hill while pushing a stroller. It is very hard to get back up... Otherwise beautiful park!"
"This is definitely my favorite hiking spot in grand rapids, if you park at the big lot on the corner of Crahen and Leonard you can walk straight towards the valley and you'll stumble on a trail that takes you into the valley. It's unmarked so it's fun to adventure with lots of little trails going around! Get to see some creeks and a couple ponds, and so many different kinds of wildlife! I've seen snakes, turtles, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and different kinds of birds! You can get anywhere from a 1.5 mile hike and 4 mile hike depending on how you loop around the trails!"
"Wow! This is a beautiful park. It has a quarter mile paved loop around a large field, with picnic benches and benches, a grand view of the valley, and a neat wooden bridge. Then you can go down into Crahen Valley on unmarked hiking trails and explore creeks, forest, and a pond for over an hour without seeing all the trails. But you’ll probably see some deer! There is no trail map and no trail markers so be prepared to find your own way in the valley!"
