"When I went it was early in the morning so it was very cool and peaceful. I got in some quality time and was able to sunbathe as well. Waves were calm that day and the beach is well kept and marked for the places to avoid (drop off, private property, etc)."

"Nice little beach with a parking lot. Fences run on either side down to the water so there's not a lot of room. Private property on either side. If the parking has open spots, you will be able to find a spot on the beach. If the parking lot is full, the beach area is also full"
"On most days you have to pay to park. The beach area is so small that it is quickly crowded. It's in a rich neighborhood and I felt like I was intruding. Again, the rich live high on the hog and the rest of us are given what's left. It was nice seeing lake Michigan in all it's glory. It was cool though, we saw a black squirrel, not a normal sight"
