Reviews
"Beautiful little park, off of M-55 (Houghton Lake Drive). Although there wasn't anybody there when I was, I imagine you could go for a swim at the small beach there. Bench nearby to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility (even though it's right off a busy road) of Michigan's largest inland lake."
"Cute little park. Nice place to let your little dog stretch its legs. It has a pavilion, fishing dock, board walk and a play area."
"Nice view and good place to stop and relax and lake side road drive awesome"
"Awesome park amenities. Perfect place to watch the sunrise. Roscommon Township did a great job on this park!"
"Great picnic spot while traveling, esp with dogs and kids! (Not a lot of parking, and RVs would have to park elsewhere nearby. Upper parking lot was empty, so we were able to maneuver our pop-up in backwards, otherwise we could not have gotten in/out.) Looks newly opened. Has large covered pavilion with tables, and another sunny area under an arbor with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table. Swings and climbing structure, lawn, amphitheatre tiered seating, and a small area of sandy lakefront to play in. Shower station to rinse off. Restrooms were locked and water fountains were off (likely due to Covid-19?) but there was a handicap-accessible port-o-potty. Trash and recycling bins. Very beautiful, and just what we needed halfway into a day long drive."
