Eagle View overlook

"Was a long drive back there but worth it. Don't stop till you see the sign with the eagle on it. The river view was amazing. Trails further up the hill to explore. Huge white pines in around the overlook. Pit style bathroom back at entrance. Looks like a part of a rickety wheelchair ramp of some sort exists but looks old ground nay be soft."

"Currently there cutting alot there but its beautiful up by Eagle's view area, just watch out of there logging, it's a nice place for relaxing and getting away from the city, or a noisy place. The picture is from Carly's Hill, by the entrance."

"Great lil off-road Trek into woods. Nice view over the Manistee river! Easy walk to not much elevation or stairs to climb. Beautiful last few weekends of October"

"Eagle view overlook is beautiful! Well worth the trip! We frequently go here to enjoy the view and relax. There is a small deck with railings and benches to sit on and it is wheelchair accessible. Its also got trails to hike in several directions some of which go even higher for those brave enough to venture for an even better view overlooking the Manistee River. Highly recommended!"
