"All I can say is now I know why this store has received all these negative reviews! I visited this store on Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville, AL on 7/11/23 between 3:30 & 4pm. The manager was EXTRA NASTY! She said that we customers were stupid for always choosing the wrong register for self check out. She said either we can't read or we are just plain stupid. These comments were made in the presence of everyone in the store. Come on, Dollar General...get a RESPECTFUL MANAGER because as of that moment, I decided that I will NEVER come back!!!!"

"I still shop there for convenience but it is hard because it is very messy and out side is trashy, literally. Corporate or management or whoever, should make arrangements for enough employees to be there at least twice a week to do cleanup and garbage duty and clean the parking lot. One person cannot do everything."
