"Idk what happened but I went here last week, and today I woke up getting texts from my Bank asking if I authorized charges at Scooters. It wasn’t me and now I’m concerned someone stole my information from Scooters or their systems are not secure. My card was compromised after using it here on 2/19. Editing to add that I never received an email about the “authorization” that would happen to my card, so when I got a text asking if I did this transaction, I said no and my card was immediately closed. Now, I have no debit card… I’ve never heard of any business doing this and now I’m without a debit card because of something out of my control…. I’m in banking and this isn’t normal for businesses to do. It wasn’t fraud, but it doesn’t make this situation any less inconvenient and annoying."
