"I had a return. That was handled quite efficiently. I shopped for new items. Again the cashier handled my transaction quite efficiently."

"I was in a lot of pain at family dollar on 4th Ave in BESSEMER. the beautiful young lady that works in family dollar tall and beautiful help me to my car and she went back in family dollar and bought what I wanted and brought me my change . the young lady refuse to take a tip .i was truly truly blessed indeed god sent me an angel."

"I was told by a worker named “kaykay” who says she is an assistant manager that I could not return something I bought the day before with my receipt. She told me she couldn’t return it without the manager there but she was an assistant manager. I use to work at this store so I know that if she is who she says she is she can return it. She then goes to say well I’ll try, but then she looks at my receipt and said she couldn’t return it because I used the smart coupons. My mother is a assistant manager at another Family Dollar and she told me that was a lie. So I asked for her name because she had no name tag on, she proceeds to say her name is “kaykay” so I asked for her real name and she would not give it to me. So I left and went to the Family Dollar on hwy 150 and returned it with no problem. This place is a joke ever since the last manager left."

"They hardly ever actually open at 8 the sign is there, but doors are locked. Big puddles of water coming out the back every time I go, absolutely no wet floor signs (not sure it would help the water is ankle deep). There is new product to be put out blocking aisles you will want to shop, it is there for days like they don't have the staff for it. Most items out of stock and their refrigerator reads 61 which is terrible food temperatures."

"The aisles are really crowded with merchandise to put out. The back of the store had a water leak from somewhere all over the floor and had a bad odor. Only one cashier was working at the time. She was in great spirits and had awesome customer service skills. I didn't get her name but she was a black older lady with glasses and mingled gray hair. The store needs more committed employees with better pay. The turnover rate is extremely high, there are constant new employees."
