Ocqueoc Falls Bicentennial Pathway

"Beautiful rustic trails through the woods and along the river. Tons of mushrooms and moss. The falls themselves were a very short and paved hike, there were tons of people swimming in the falls."

"We get here early in the morning for easy parking on the weekends. After you jump into the river there are miles of trails to walk. About a mile in there are several locations of wild blueberries. Last year they were all over the place and we ate handful after handful on our walk. This year they have not fully ripened yet so we could not eat as much. We did the full loop which was around 6-7 miles."

"Nice little falls. If it was someplace other than the lower peninsula, it would be called a cascade. It is a nice place to get into the water and relax. The day we were there, the water was cool and refreshing. There is a nice parking lot with the restrooms large enough with hooks so you can change into swimsuits."
