"It is a combo of Family Dollar & Dollar Tree. Bad combo! Items are mixed together & Family Dollar has everything high prices & hardly any Dollar tree items. The ones that are aren't priced correctly."
"I love this place. We frequent this store so much i should probably own stock in it haha. I go to this store instead of dollar general for one reason, the employees! They love animals and my little dog Oliver absolutely loves going to see these ladies. And they love him too. He wags his tail everytime we say do you want to go to the dollar store and see your friends? Also, us living 30 min from town this store carries everything we need in a quick manner. I live 1 mile from this store and can get just about everything i need without having to go to town on a regular basis. Clean, and friendly staff."
"Store was clean and orderly. Cashier that checked us out was friendly and helpful. The only thing is the other employee walking around outside the doors smoking around everyone, I don't want second hand smoke just because you think you need a cigarette and if you're going to smoke it's probably better you don't stand where customers walk."
"I shopped here frequently...almost weekly for the conveniece of not having to go to town. Last week, I picked up some things for my elderly neighbor who has been down after a surgery. She insisted on using her EBT card for the purchase despite me offering to cover it for her. I got her a bunch of ice cream, per her request, because she's having to eat soft foods and just not feeling well. I noticed that the gal that was helping me, had a very noticeable change of attitude when I used that card. I thought it was nothing and left. I went back today for a couple of things and the same gal was at the register. She was very friendly and chatting with the customer in front of me. When it came time for my purchase, I paid with my debit card. She was very unfriendly, has completely changed her attitude towards me when I come in and, sadly, the feeling that she had an issue with my last visit was very obvious. If that is how your staff reacts to folks who have to use public benefits, I will take my business back to Dollar General because they apparently know that their $#!@ smells the same as everyone else out there! We are very fortunate to not be in the position to need government assistance and it made me very sad to see your employee's very tacky response and lack of compassion. I can understand why folks have a difficult time when they need to use these resources with such judgment and stigma by employees who treat them like I've now been treated. I like the deals at Family Dollar and, while our family could very easily just drive to Publix, it's been convenient. I'll just drive to town from now on. Very disappointed to see this in a community that's supposed to support it's seniors and any other person that may have a disadvantage. I'll pay full price elsewhere for quality customer service and folks who value EVERY, SINGLE member of their community."
"A honest mistake was made by the cashier, that nobody in line was upset about. she asked the manager lady for advice and pretty well got cussed out over it. At the end of the transaction the manager was actually wrong, I never did hear an apology to the cashier. I won't come back because of how bad the staff is talked to by the manager. I love seeing miss Betty at the counter. Such a good employee to be talked down so badly...."
