"Took my mom there for her 81st B'day dinner last night and the food was wonderfully delicious as usual!!!! This has been a favorite eating place for my parent's for several years but the first time we had been back since my daddy passed away last June of 2023. It was bittersweet being back! The service was great as usual too!!"
"The place is Amish-run, and it is small but charming. Food is served buffet style. It is good country cooking. The day I was there, they had meatloaf, roast, country-fried steak, ham, catfish, barbecue chicken, green beans, creamed corn, carrots, fried green tomatoes, squash casserole, lima beans, and black-eyed beans. There were a lot of desserts (including homemade ice cream). This is some of the food on the buffet. It is out of the way, but well worth the trip."
"Restaurants of the beaten path that are in the middle of nowhere usually end up being the best ones. The food was absolutely to die for good..The ham was the best meat on the buffet to me but they had meatloaf and country fried steak. However, there is an old pond as you go in that smells horrible and makes it look junky at first. When we got out, i thought there was an outhouse because of the smell. however, the inside a was very clean. and the staff was very nice .. If you haven't been, it's definitely worth going at least once.. I've never really been one to eat country food, but I was amazed . and the desert bar was even good. They made homemade ice cream, and the day we went, they had coconut cake that was delicious. The salad bar was.good and fresh too.. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to the middle of nowhere and get something good to eat."
"We went on Seafood Night (Friday). I can't recommend the seafood. It was all fried, and I'm not a fan of anyone's fried seafood. However, the ham was outstanding! The salad bar was ideal for my taste, and the vegetables were wonderful. The dessert bar was delicious! I had a small amount of almost everything!"
"Delicious food every time we go! Friendly staff and nice clean restaurant!"
