"Food and service was great. It is not your old fish creel though. Prices have gone up substantially. Also other things for example unlimited salad bar use to come with the meal now it is an extra 3.99 for 1 trip to the salad bar with meal and smaller salad plate. Large fish fillet and 1 trip to salad bar about 20 dollars. Also the Dailey lunch special is up to 9 dollars. Having said this it is still worth the visit sometimes. You still get large portions and the food and service are great."

"We ate at the Fish Creel tonight and as usual the food and salad bar was fantastic. We always order the large plates and have enough to take home for two more meals. We got the New Orleans chicken fingers and they were amazing. Hush puppies are the best we have ever ate. I saw where someone mentioned small portions. We have always had plenty of food and take home leftovers."

"This place is out of the way but the food makes it worth the trip. They have a really good salad bar, freshly stocked w/lots of variety. Chicken tenders are hand breaded not stamped and frozen. Catfish is really good too. Best hush puppies I've ever had. It's basic food, but it fresh and well done. Definitely worth the drive ."

"Went on the advice of a friend who lives in Lester. Great place to eat. Price was more than reasonable at $15+tip. Their menu includes seafood choices such as shrimp, scallops, etc. Ordered a medium size catfish filet dinner with choice of sides and trip to the salad bar. As soon as she brought my plate, I told her I was going to need a "to go" box. Don't let the crowded parking lot fool you, there was no wait and the service was friendly and fast. Young lady at the register advised me that Friday and Saturday nights ARE crowded. Sunday after Church can also get busy. Fish and hushpuppies were cooked to order and fresh, not sitting under a heat lamp for three hours. This place is a good distance from home but worth the drive. It's a simple, yet delicious country style dinner served by some remarkable folks who care for their customers. Pardon the half eaten plate, I forgot to snap a photo before I dug into it. Dessert from the salad bar was also included-banana pudding and peaches."
