"Nice roadside stop on the scenic byway. There's a place to park. Nice vault toilet for those in need. Also, a walking trail for those looking to really stretch their legs. Didn't have time for the trail, but will return one day to see what that's all about. Nice view over the trees to Lake Superior. Always love a good view of the big lake. Definitely, take the time to check this place out."

"Peaceful and transcendent trail to and along Lake Superior. The boardwalk is well maintained but be prepared for some mud. The trail begins down steps from the overlook and then across boards over a bog. Eventually it reaches a bridge over the creek and gorgeous Lake shoreline. A wonderful and hidden gem."

"We pulled over expecting just an overlook and we ended up taking the trail to the beach. It was a fun walk through the trees! Expect mud and to be hit by branches on the way. Toward the end we went to the right at the fork and found a beautiful bit of sandy shoreline. We don't know what the trail to the left went to since there was no signage. The trail we took was just .5 miles so I think the path to the left is the one that the sign at the beginning must have referred to."

"Beautiful overlooking Superior. Nice trail to hike out to the beach, kind of hidden by the information sign, it should be cleaned up a bit to make the trail access more visible. Or maybe it's good not to many people see it?"
