Reviews of Lakeshore Inn Restaurant
"I'm a former Employee There are roaches living everywhere in the staff is drunk or high. Food is handled and served without Gloves ratness in the kitchen. Be strongly advised to stay as far away from this establishment as possible"
"They are extremely rude to their customers! The manager came to our table and started accusing us of under age drinking even though everyone who was drinking had their ID’s. They threatened to kick us out and completely stop serving the table for absolutely no reason!"
"We had a great experience with staff but my girlfriend happened to forget her ID at home. We were celebrating our friends 30th birthday and ordered shots. They took our order and brought out the shots. When my girlfriend happened to take one the owner decided to come out and treat her like a criminal. She’s 26 and I understand needing to abide by the laws but talking down to us like we’re children was extremely unprofessional. On top of that they didn’t even card my other friend and gave him a drink anyways. Then he decided to cut all of us off over this. Most of us are in our 30s and 40s… I have managed restaurants before and would never act like this. There’s a way to handle things and talking to a women like that is downright disrespectful. Luckily you have a nice location and great staff but if you want to run a business get a better attitude."
"The staff here is phenomenal. The owner however was extremely rude about serving our drinks. The food was sub par and not worth the drive. I do not recommend that you visit this restaurant and we will not be returning due to the fact that the owner did not even offer an apology after I confronted him about his inappropriate behavior."
"We were having lunch with lots of relatives on Sun so we decided to check it out on Fri. 3 couples plus us so not a crowd on deck to eat. Someone in a previous review mentioned a tablespoon of meat on the Philly, true. Teaspoon maybe of onions & cheese. Catfish pretty good, onions GREASY, BAKED POTATO probably cooked that morning and keep in a steamer all day. Had to wave the server down to get tea. SLOW, SLOW SLOW. Don’t sit on the deck unless you like cigarette smoke. One couple smoked 10 in less than 10 min. I counted. One couple moved to other side of deck. Now Sun. If you eat the buffet you better be 1-10 in line to get a decent piece of chicken. When that’s gone that’s it then you can have 1skinny thigh, leg or wing. Girl preparing plates never smiled and was a little disrespectful. Fried green tomatoes, Mac & cheese, coleslaw, green beans cornbread and coconut cake ok. So many complaints from other family members about food being cold and that potato as mentioned before looked same…cooked hours before & kept somewhere. Salad lettuce, cheese and 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half, looked unappetizing. The asparagus looked charred. Chicken not marinated enough¬ tender. They knew in advance we had a big group coming so it was a BIG disappointment about the chicken pieces especially. 1 skinny piece of chicken for a 200lb man isn’t much or anybody for that matter. Charge more if you have to so you can provide a better meal. Standing in line so long and not being that far back due to slowness of 1 poor server. To get a refill of coffee I had to go myself almost to coffee pot to get a refill. 26-30 people should have at least 2 designated servers. I think they must have had people taking turns cooking because SLOW isn’t the word. Most unorganized restaurant I’ve been to and management didn’t seem to care. Not sure who owns this restaurant but I would fire everyone and start over. It was not enough to redeem such a meal but the coconut cake was very good."
