"Had the pleasure of getting my taxes done by, I believe her name is Lauren, I know her last name is Maniak. She’s very knowledgeable, more than any tax person I’ve ever met. She was telling me about certain credits I qualified for, helping me get the max out of my return. Last year, I got around 3k, this year I got around 6k. I don’t know if it’s because of the credits , but I will definitely be going back to her! The one thing that sucks about H&R Block is how much they take. Hopefully the tax preparer gets a chunk of that money because they charged me around $500 to do my taxes. Mrs.Maniak is very professional though and I’m definitely happy with my choice in switching to H&R block. I wasn’t feeling that well that day and had my 2 yr old daughter with me. She was very patient , especially with the computers moving pretty slow. She took her time to explain everything she was doing and educate me on things I didn’t know or understand. Will definitely be returning next year to file with her! Fun fact; she said she has been certified to do taxes since the 90’s!"
