Reviews of St Ignace KOA
"We stopped just to play their mini-golf. It is free to their guests and $6 total for a family! It's not a top-notch course, but it's a cute little course. We had an enjoyable time."
"Overall this KOA is as expected, clean, well maintained, easy in and out, with a very friendly/helpful staff. The sites are a mix of the usual KOA width and some that are a little wider. There are a few different styles of patio configurations. We found our sewer connection was way too far forward and within just a couple feet from the neighbors fire ring patio. We needed 30 feet of hose to reach our connection unless we parked our RV door right at our fire ring. Some sites are also not as level as most KOAs but they are flat. The levelness is due to the slight slope of the entire campground which runs up as you go deeper in the grounds until you get to the rear bathhouse. Our kids really enjoyed the bounce pillow and mini golf that is free! This is a big plus for traveling with children. We would stay here again."
"1st off, we consider ourselves travellers, not campers. So we do KOA a lot. This is a really nice place for camping, especially with kids. Very rustic and treed in,,satellites won't work unless looking straight up. Cable not so good, with very few channels, but over all, not a big issue for 2 nites. Spaces in bak not level at all but doable with a bit of work. I do find it irrating when places hav 1 water line for 2 spots. Which means we had to run line under trl to hook up 6 ft from front door. They are 50 years old and are doing upgrades as time goes along. Good an bad, but I would stay here again now that I know what to ask for. Spaces in front half are more level. Staff was great getting us a different place due to nothing but dirt, outside front door. It was rainey an misty so didn't want to track dirt in with 2 small dogs. Staff gave me an extra cable line since my 20 ft would not reach from hook up to trl. Like I said, it was a bit frustrating at first, but all was well an settled in for a Really nice visit"
"Stayed there during a recent vacation. It was not the nicest KOA we have been too but it was clean and the staff were very friendly. We stayed in a cabin and it was comfortable. Mini golf was fun. No pool. Only gripe would be our fire pit area was flooded for 2 days after a day of rain. We would stay there again."
"It could use some updating, the facilities and sites were a bit run-down. It was overall a nice KOA with friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and would come to stay again."
