"Selection of items is often more expensive than certain other places and there might be less variety of certain types of things expected at Piggly Wiggly, Goar's , Son's or Whole Foods, as well as difficulty when it comes to navigating their selection due to the layout of their floor plan when compared to something more commonplace for every day shopping for at home and at work items where one might see a typical retail "Set", a shelf and floorplan layout designed with certain types of merchandise found in the same place with very similar layouts and patterns no matter where you go shop depending on the company the store uses to design and incorporate their new shelf reset; but despite the higher expanse when compared to somewhere like the Dollar General and despite there being less variety overall compared to a larger package store like a sprawling multi-department retail Giant with a million aisles to choose from, despite all this you can often get a good deal at CVS simply because they do offer great coupons and discounts and even a card based reward program with downloadable coupons available online to add to your account and credit to the card for swiping later during in-store purchase. So there are ways to even out the steeper price and still benefit from the great variety of stuff they do have on specialty items. At CVS a shopper will find probably 10 to 20 times more variety when it comes to shampoo or something of that nature when comparing it with another store like the Dollar General or even one of the giant sprawling multi dept retail stores that can sell things for cheaper but may not have as much variety on a specialty subset of items from a particular section simply because even though it's a bigger store, these larger chains still have to cram so much more in there because of their wide assortment of products, departments, and how many different types of items they are expected to carry; therefore a giant multi-department store of that nature can't necessarily focus on one small subset of one item type and just pack out a huge section of the store with only that one type of thing. They may have so much variety then at the end of the day,tha it keeps them from having a huge assortment of one thing in particular that a customer might like.A customer may wish to choose from 500 different kinds of conditioner but at one of the larger retail stores even with their huge floor space and massive shelf range, they still don't quite have the ability to put that many conditioners in there considering how many departments and how many types of items they have to place in each department to cover all their bases with variety. So if you're looking for a quick easy deal without a rewards program card CVS may not necessarily be for you, although if you do have the card and you come at times when prices are right for your budget with even more savings loaded onto your card through various coupons that you have found and credited to your account online then you can even out the price to be about the same that you would expect to spend somewhere else, but not only that, you would have the added benefit of also being able to choose from a wide sweeping selection of specialized items if you're looking for a huge assortment of particular things such as makeup shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tanning supplies, and lotions,as well as certain office supplies, pharmaceutical items, perfumes, cologne, soaps, then you may find that CVS is well worth it and you may indeed be glad that you found a shining gym hidden in those shelves where as the cheapest store with a wider selection may not necessarily carry it or ever have even heard of it. And on top of all the rest the employees on staff at this particular CVS happen to be very friendly and helpful if you need help locating certain things if you're unfamiliar with the layout of the shelves, and are certainly very patient and helpful with their ATM machine and card readers at the registers if you're having any trouble accessing your account."
"i have never been treated like such garbage ANYWHERE. went to get my meds and noticed one was missing and went back to ask. i couldn’t even get a sentence out without the pharmacist getting smart with me and interrupting me. she didn’t even know why i was there. she wouldn’t even let me get a sentence out. i tried speaking a few times with her cutting in asking for my last name. cvs is my pharmacy so i know they have to ask me and i was going to give it to her, but the fact i was just there seconds before. i just went back around to ask about my missing medication because i didn’t know if the doctor didn’t send it in or what.. i don’t know why but every time i go in here, the energy in the pharmacy is negative and everyone seems so pissed. like i get it, you are understaffed and overworked.. this on the other hand was the worst i have ever been treated. i will be switching my pharmacy but this is not the last time cvs will be hearing from me. this is unacceptable. she said there was a rush. sorry, that’s not an excuse to be rude to me. i wouldn’t have even asked about the medication that was missing if i was told the issue the first time. a lot of miscommunication, unless they were just being mean on purpose because it’s giving mean girls."
"The Haleyville CVS personnel are always helpful and friendly. The store is clean and well organized. I save lots of money with my extra bucks and coupons. If I can buy it from this CVS, I don’t shop anywhere else."
"Horrible staff with nasty attitudes. They will short your prescription and act like it's your fault! They were doing it again today. They shorted her one pill and acted like she was a criminal! When will something be done? I thought pillow theft was a crime. Charges need to be pressed against these thieves!"
"The pharmacy has been hard to do business with lately. They never have the medicine I need for my prescriptions and they don't have any idea when they will have it . They don't offer to order anything anymore and they never smile . I feel like I'm bugging them when I need a refill or a prescription because they aren't friendly at all . I have had the major prescriptions sent to Wal-Mart because I know they will have them in stock when CVS doesn't which is every month for mine."
