"I have been using Debbie for years and thought she was a good tax preparer. However, this year was different. She made an error by not including all of my checking account numbers in her electronic filing software and therefore I was penalized with $179 fee by the IRS for having “insufficient funds.” The funds were in the account weeks before the withdrawal. When I called Debbie to discuss, she said she forgot the last number which is required for credit unions. Debbie would not help me write a letter to IRS asking for reconsideration nor would she contribute to this fee. This was her error in her system and I trusted she would be accurate and thorough and stand behind her work. She was also very rude with me on the phone like this was my fault and said “I can’t pay everyone’s fees.” Caution: you take a chance hiring her to do your books accurately and professionally."
