"Beautiful area. My husband and I were exploring the day away. We lived in the area for over 24 years and never knew this place existed. As a birder, this is going to be a regular stop for me now. I was happy to see a yellow headed blackbird and over 75-100 pelicans"

"A wonderful place to visit and take in the sights. This natural preserve is home to many rare birds in the area, and makes as a photographers dream for capturing the sun over water. Parking is very limited in certain seasons as Pond Rd is a dead end with a circular drive."
