"My daughter and I really enjoy coming to this English flower farm!! It is so peaceful and inviting. Being among the beauty of the flowers, butterflies and bees is definitely therapeutic. Knowing that Torch Lake is “right there” is also refreshing! I enjoy being able to see the beauty of the lake during the drive to and from the farm. I love the family (the children are especially delightful) who greets us when we come and their collective knowledge of the flowers is such a wonderful added blessing to our experience! The time they take to fellowship with us and educate us about the flowers and how they recommend to arrange them is a sweet benefit! And.... the breakfast cookie is superb!! A definite bonus!! If you just need a break from the stresses in life away from the hustle and bustle of even the small town of Alden, just take a short drive east up the hill past the fire station, township hall and library (hang a right for about a mile drive) to capture a breath of fresh air!!! You won’t regret your time even for only an hour!! Support this beautiful family in their wonderful endeavor who teach their kids the value of hard work and loving God in everyday life."

"Family run English Garden style farm simply beautifully done with a variety of flowers, sitting in sun or shade and some light refreshments like tea and lemonade. They also offer classes on a variety of flower related topics. To keep the flowers growing healthy they will provide instructions on how to cut and mixing up selections."
